VR Drive - new Firmware v. 2.023 available
Our new VR Drive software - Christmas Edition 2018 Edition - has been completed just in time. Download this new version by accessing the Roundshot Club and update your VR Drive!
With this new version we are introducing numerous new features and also some bug fixes:
new functions:
- New y-motor initialization process - if the y-motor moves from the park position to 0° and does not find the initialization sensor, the user is asked to either perform a manual adjustment with the large Allen key or an advanced initialization which removes the camera and searches vertically at 360°
- External exposure meter - improved spot measurements - the exposure meter first rotates 90° to measure at the center of the panorama, which is ideal for panoramas with an angle smaller than 360°
- New cameras (update of the camera database + USB compatibility + HDR mode - with Image Bundler):
Nikon D3500, Nikon Z6, Nikon Z7, Canon EOS R, Canon EOS 2000, Canon EOS 4000 - New cameras (update of the camera database + USB compatibility):
Fujifilm X-T2, X-T3, GFX 50R
Apart from a few minor bug fixes, we have also fixed a compatibility issue with the Roundshot USB keys, so that all updates to version 2.023 now work without errors.
