Creating panorama tours with VR-EASY

Today we introduce you to VR-EASY, a company based in Berlin, Germany, which was founded by VR professionals who are dedicated to the simple and efficient creation of virtual tours.

With the dissolution of KOLOR and the discontinuation of popular VR products such as PanoTour, the VR community worldwide has begun to look for new solutions. The start-up company VR-EASY has now not only closed the gap, but also expanded the VR tour experience.

Their goals:

  • Giving 360° content developers a new home
  • Offer users the opportunity to use the VR-EASY cloud service on the one hand and, on the other hand, to provide access to the VR-EASY know-how
  • Offer free content creation and sales support webinars
  • Introducing a new feature for stock photos from fall 2019, which will generate additional income for creators of 360° content
  • Enabling business benefits for professional photographers by having VR-EASY reference their work

This short video explains, how the VR-EASY cloud software works:

The business model is based on a cloud service with three different offering packages:

  • Freemium - free for 14 days with all functions, then reduction to the basic version with limited functions and integrated advertising
  • Premium - 5 GB of data (enough for approx. 100 panoramas, 12,000 x 6,000 pixels, additional data volumes can be purchased) with various term packages: 1 month EUR 9, 3 months EUR 27, 6 months EUR 52, 12 months EUR 99
  • Pro - with white label option - also possible with your own domain, reseller options, all features, EUR 39 per month

It is possible to test the service for free by registering for a FREEMIUM version. All subscriptions can be canceled with 30 days notice.

So what are the benefits for the user?

  • an online software with an easy-to-use backend
  • focus on photography instead of programming - no IT knowledge required
  • build a sustainable business and stay in touch with your customers
  • get access to a variety of marketing features, which generates new content requests from customers
  • new features are automatically included
  • data is stored on Telekom’s German servers (GDPR)

At roundshot, we continue to strive for the best workflow for our customers.

With this in mind, we wish the VR-EASY team all the best for the new products and much success!
