New VR Drive firmware ready!
We are pleased to announce the new VR Drive firmware version 2.024 as well as the new version 1.4 of our Roundshot Image Bundler for Windows and Mac desktop computers. These updates are available for free as downloads from our “Club” website for all of our VR Drive customers.

* These cameras require a 5-6 second pause between images for USB triggering + HDR mode. We therefore recommend using the electronic release cable and the camera's internal bracketing for these cameras instead of the USB cable.

In addition to camera compatibility, this new VR Drive firmware version 2.024 includes the following feature updates:
- Initialization + alignment of the nodal rail with y-motor: new simplified procedure for aligning the nodal rail
- Ground image: new ability to capture multiple ground images (nadir patch).
- Time for trigger signal (pressed) + preparation signal (half pressed): new possibility to control the duration for both signal types separately
- Programs with automatic exposure meter: new "Stop" function
- Automatic exposure metering is now assigned to a program and uses the maximum number of positions per row as the default value for the number of light measurements
- When the automatic exposure meter is used for an HDR program, the new “EV” function allows the HDR table to be shifted with a fixed EV value - in the range of -3 EVs to +3 EVs
At the same time, we have updated our Roundshot VR Drive operating instructions to bring them up to version 2.024 and are pleased to also make these available to our customers as downloads:
