About the creation process:

• Equipment used: Roundshot VR Drive in quality mode with Canon EOS 5D mk iii camera, Canon EF 100-400mm L IS II USM zoom lens with 1.4 converter (=560mm focal length) and SanDisk Extreme CompactFlash UDMA7 128GB
• Start / end of the recording process: 9 a.m. / 4:40 p.m. (=7 hours 40 minutes)
• Over 10,000 individual images, 1 image every 2.6 seconds.
• The panorama was recorded 3-4 times by repeating certain parts of the image using the VR Drive function "repeat x/y" and "restart x/y" - in order to eliminate ghost images, duplicates and shadows caused by clouds
• Temperature around 32° C
• Resulting image dimensions: 342,876 x 37,980 pixels = 13,022 gigapixels
