New VR Drive firmware v. 2.025 ready!
We are pleased to present you our new VR Drive firmware version 2.025 as well as a new version 1.5 of our Roundshot Image Bundler for Windows and Mac desktop computers. These updates are available free of charge to all of our VR Drive customers via our "Club" website.
This new VR Drive Firmware Version 2.025 and Image Bundler Version 1.5 makes the following new cameras compatible:
- New cameras (update of the camera database + USB compatibility + HDR mode with image bundler):
Fujifilm GFX 100, Fujifilm GFX 100s, Fujifilm 50s mk ii
- New cameras (update of the camera database + USB compatibility + HDR mode without image bundler):

In addition to the expanded camera compatibility, the new VR Drive firmware version 2.025 contains the following functional extensions:
all firmware modes
- Reorganization of the memory for new functions: maximum number of programs now 92 instead of the previous 99
- Export of xml Papywizard ) + program files: the program info text is added as additional information in the file name after P_ and after Program _
- Timer : Reprogramming the timer function with two selectable options (either/or):
- Start delay: waits after program start until execution (in seconds)
- Interval: starts every program execution at a fixed interval (in seconds) requires program repetition - Next Program: new function to start a new program (ID) after a program has been executed; enables sequential program series
- Liveview not available for all Nikon cameras when using the VR Drive USB connection to the camera: Lv disabled
speed mode
- Exporting the xml file (manually + with Image Bundler) resulted in incorrect positions; xml disabled for speed mode
quality, speed + HDR mode
- Overlap allowed range now from 0 0° to 90 90° instead of 10 10° to 90 90°
- A + B value now in decimals
The Roundshot Image Bundler Version 1.5 now contains the following improvements:
- New Image Bundler version to provide compatibility with latest Mac OS 11 (Big Sur).
- New cameras update the image bundler for: Fujifilm GFX 100, Fujifilm GFX 100s + Fujifilm GFX 50s mk ii
- New “move” feature: instead of deleting the source images after copying, this new feature allows the images to be moved, allowing significantly faster processing as only the file index needs to be changed
... and the following bug-fixes:
- Stability enhancement
- Ground images are copied to the “Ungrouped images” directory; Since they are not part of the xml structure, they are instead left in the input directory instead of being moved
- Improved error messages with checksums
- Improved naming of the output directories using consistent timestamps (same length)
