VR Drive - no limits for gigapixels!

Our team has created the new VR Drive software version 2.10. It is now available as a download in our "Club" - of course free of charge for our VR Drive customers. With this software version it is now possible to create an unlimited number of vertical rows, ideal for gigapixel photography. Thanks to its many practical features, the VR Drive is the ideal tool for gigapixel panoramas:
- powerful motors position even very heavy camera equipment (up to 20 kg)
- visual angle mode to define the bottom left and top right corners of the panorama
- image calculation software for automatic distribution of rows/images depending on the sensor size of the camera, the focal length, the % overlap and the horizontal and vertical image angles - now with an unlimited number of rows!
- advanced USB control with some very essential functions such as: USB image release, image release control, available storage space check, white balance check
- VR Drive xml file that documents the exact positions and image sequence, allowing significantly easier and automated stitching and a significant reduction in image post-processing
In addition to these functions, we have also incorporated improved graphic elements for all software modes as well as an expansion of the time-lapse mode in the new software.
With this expansion it is now possible to use the VR Drive with new hardware: the VR Drive linear rail and the new VR Drive dolly. These new hardware options are currently being completed and tested with the software. A news update will follow as soon as the new hardware is ready and can be ordered.
