Seitz presents the new Roundshot VR Drive Metric
The new VR Drive Metric generates a 194 million pixel spherical HDR panorama - capturing and outputting the panorama in under 5 minutes.

New Roundshot VR Drive Hardware Options: VR Drive Linear Unit
We have redesigned the prototype of the linear rail to make its construction even simpler. The linear rail and the dolly solution are now ready for sale and the first deliveries will start after photokina 2014. Both items can be ordered in our e-shop.
With the VR Drive's linear rail, the y-motor controls movement along the axis, while the x-motor creates additional rotational movement for the camera.
New Roundshot VR Drive Hardware Options: VR Drive Dolly
The VR Drive Dolly solution is a dolly system that allows unlimited camera movements for unique time-lapse or video projects.
Roundshot VR Drive WiFi remote control
With the new WiFi remote control, the VR photographer has access to the entire VR Drive + VR Drive Metric software from external devices such as smartphones, tablets or other computers.
This is ideal for starting/stopping/pause/restarting program sequences, changing settings, or even programming new programs remotely.
To set up the WiFi remote control, a WiFi router is plugged into the Ethernet socket of the VR Drive or VR Drive Metric.
The new WiFi remote control is available from photokina.
Bring order to your panorama projects with the Roundshot VR Drive Bundler
Our new Image Bundler is a practical tool and fills the gap in an increasingly integrated VR Drive workflow.
Sorting hundreds of images into a larger panoramic job can be very tedious and time-consuming. With the new Image Bundler these problems are a thing of the past. Simply copy all images to a special directory on the computer - the Image Bundler groups your images into separate projects efficiently and error-free.
The Image Bundler is developed exclusively for the VR Drive and is compatible with most modern Nikon and Canon EOS SLR cameras. For a complete list of compatible cameras, please visit our compatible cameras webpage.
The new software is available to all of our VR Drive customers free of charge. It will be available for download in our “Club” after photokina in a Mac and a Windows 64-bit version. All of our VR Drive customers receive a newsletter inviting them to download the new software.
VR Drive Auto Exposure + VR Drive Software Version 2.12
Developed for the new VR Drive Metric, the new automatic exposure system is also available to our VR Drive customers. A new external exposure meter is plugged into the VR Drive and measures the light for automated VR Drive recordings. As with a traditional camera, the photographer can choose from various automatic exposure options: varying the exposure time, aperture, ISO/ASA or a combination of different parameters. The settings can also be fixed or given limits.
All Nikon and Canon cameras compatible with HDR mode can be used with the new automatic exposure. For a complete list, please visit our compatible cameras webpage.
The new automatic exposure system gives the VR Drive even more independence and productivity.
After photokina we will make the new VR Drive software version 2.12 available. This version includes an updated camera database as well as many new improvements and features. Our VR Drive customers will receive an email newsletter for a free download of the new software version 2.12 shortly after photokina.
