Our new weather data service provides a 3-day forecast for a livecam location based on its GPS coordinates.
The weather situation, minimum and maximum temperatures, precipitation (rain or snow) as well as wind speed and direction are visualized using graphic symbols and data.
Seitz is introducing the new weather service in cooperation with MeteoGroup, Europe's largest weather service provider. With locations throughout Europe and the USA, MeteoGroup has a very dense network of measuring stations. The Roundshot server sends an update request to the weather server every day in the early morning hours.
This new service is free of charge for our customers and is already included in the annual web service fee.

Hot spots - unlimited!
Our hot spots function contains a complete selection of symbols, allows great flexibility for the orientation of the content and enables the integration of images and videos. This variety of options makes it easy to reference sponsors or landmarks in the rotating image.
HTTPS certificate
All Livecam media (website, web administration (CMS), html4 fallback website, mobile apps) are fully HTTPS compliant. This means that Livecam content is embedded in other HTTPS websites (e.g. via iframe) with maximum consistency and security.
Multiple websites
Did you know that you can create multiple websites (instances) with one Livecam? This is ideal for getting additional partners on board, who in turn can advertise the livecam with their own logo (top left) and texts, hot spots and sponsors!
Livecam radio!
Combine a beautiful panoramic view with music! Thanks to this new function you can link the Livecam website (html5) to an Internet radio station.
Mobile - html4
Our website for mobile devices is designed for those devices that do not allow computationally intensive html5 display - specifically for mobile phones and tablet computers - and for non-compatible (older) browsers. Thanks to the html4 (fallback) website, your Livecam images can be loaded anywhere!
Display of sponsors
A sponsor makes a valuable contribution to financing a Livecam. For maximum visibility of the sponsors, we display them consistently across all media - on the web (html5) + mobile (html4), in the mobile apps and in the screen saver - top right, bottom left and in the sponsor banner.

New Livecam Support Service – hotline 052 369 68 00
We have expanded the Livecam hotline for emergencies for our Swiss customers. You can reach us during office hours from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Sunday and on general holidays for remote maintenance interventions.

Welcome - New Livecams in the Roundshot netzwerk
We are happy to welcome many new Livecam customers, that have joined us since the beginning of the year.
We expect to install approximately 20 new Livecams by the end of 2015.
Outlook - next updates
New mass download function
For those customers who need a complete set of Livecam images, we are implementing a new mass download function. This download can be
scheduled in the administration image database (CMS). After processing, the images are available
for download via FTP link. It is still possible to
copy the images directly from the camera
computer.
Mobile apps IOS + android – version 2
Last month we launched the redesign of our mobile apps - Roundshot Livecam + Roundshot Livecam Global. The new version allows a simplified menu for customers with a camera as well as many additional new functions. More on this coming soon!
