Roundshot VR Drive - new firmware
We are continually improving the software of our VR Drive to enable new functions, increased stability and an expansion of the database of compatible cameras.
The new VR Drive software version 2.016 contains the following innovations:
- new USB release for faster triggering of the newer Canon cameras (especially for the Canon EOS 5Ds / 5Dsr)
- accelerated USB release control
- new definition of the "zero point" for the "visual angle of view mode" (ideal for gigapixel panoramas)
- display of the minimum necessary release time (start menu) for programs in "Speed mode"
- camera database update: Nikon D5*, Nikon D500*, Canon EOS 1Dx Mk II*, Fuji X-T1, Leica SL, Pentax 645Z, PhaseOne 100MP, Leaf Credo 5
* An update for USB and HDR compatibility will follow in spring 2016
